Our 7-Step Lawn Care Program
At Alliance Landscaping, we know that healthy and strong turf is so much more than just green grass. Our innovative 7-Step Lawn Care Program goes beyond the surface to nourish and balance the soil, target weeds, and promote root system vitality throughout your yard. Alliance Landscaping's 7-Step fertilization process spans from April through November for year-round results and includes:
Step 1: (April-May)
We know that spring can sometimes take its time arriving here in New Hampshire. We wait until your lawn is ready for its first application of the year, applying fertilizer with crabgrass pre-emergent and broadleaf weed control to eliminate unwanted growth.
Step 2: (May-June)
The weather is starting to get (and stay) warm and we are ready. Alliance Landscaping's trained technicians arrive prepared to apply our slow release fertilizer as well as a second application of crabgrass pre-emergent. In addition, a crabgrass post-emergent will be applied to ensure maximum coverage of crabgrass as well as broadleaf weed control as needed.
Step 3: (June-Aug)
Summer heat and drought conditions can deplete your lawn and soil of vital nutrients. We'll apply slow release fertilizer and treat with broadleaf weed control as needed to fortify your turf against the scorching temperatures.
Step 4: (Aug-Sept)
Alliance Landscaping will apply a final slow release fertilizer application and treat with broadleaf weed control if necessary.
Step 5: (Sept – Nov)
Fall arrives quickly, making it critical to get your home or business property ready for the dropping temperatures. Our specialists will apply fertilizer that promotes root growth for enhanced seasonal strength. Once again, the team will evaluate your property to determine if broadleaf weed control is needed.
Step 6: (Sept – Nov)
Alliance Landscaping knows how important it is to continue treatments throughout the fall to ensure a gorgeous spring green up. Step 6 is where we apply a soil enhancement treatment with your Step 5 treatment to elevate the pH and magnesium levels in your yard. Ask our lawn specialists if your lawn may need an additional spring application.
Step 7: (June – Aug)
Step 7 is all about grubs – those tiny crawlers that can quickly devour your lawn's root system and destroy everything in its path. We apply Step 7 with Step 3 to eliminate grubs before they start.
